To support future professionals in applying their theoretical knowledge in practice, VALPRO offers internship opportunities across various departments. Ksenija Elfa Hasanova, currently a 4th-year student at Valmiera Technical School studying to become a Logistics Specialist, shares her experience interning at VALPRO.
“I have done internships at other companies, where most of the time I ended up with little to do. I was surprised at how much trust VALPRO places in interns and how much opportunity there is to develop your skills,” Ksenija shares. “During my internship, I had a variety of tasks, such as organizing transportation, entering invoices, conducting price surveys, and more.” She emphasizes that her colleagues in the Logistics Department were a great support, always ready to answer questions, share experience, and allow learning from mistakes.
“I heard about this internship not only from my teacher but also from previous interns who had positive experiences. After exploring the company’s website, I decided that VALPRO was the place where I wanted to do my internship,” Ksenija recalls. When asked how she would describe VALPRO as an internship place, Ksenija says: “Safety comes first from day one. The work is dynamic and interesting – there are always different tasks, a great team, and overall it’s an amazing place! I want to encourage anyone considering an internship at VALPRO to apply – don’t hesitate!”
