Our industrially produced VALPRO metal can has received an extraordinary reinterpretation – it has been transformed into an art object for the prestigious exhibition “Purvīša Prize 2025”, on display at the Latvian National Museum of Art from April 12 to June 8. The exhibition brings together various forms of visual art – from painting and sculpture to installations and objects. It features works created by eight outstanding Latvian artists and artist collectives nominated for the award for exceptional achievement in 2023 and 2024.
