At the FSDI Latvia members’ meeting, a new Chair of the Council and two Deputy Chairs of the Council were elected
On May 8 this year, the members’ meeting of the FSDI Latvia took place, during which a new Chair of the Council and two Deputy Chairs of the Council were elected by majority vote.
Until 2028, the position of Chair of the Council of FSDI Latvia will be held by Artis Velšs, Chair of the Security Committee of FSDI Latvia and Director of the Security Functions Department at G4S . Meanwhile, Aivars Flemings, Chairman of the Board of VALPRO , was elected Deputy Chair for National Affairs, and Aleksandrs Orlovs, Member of the Board at Cyber Circle , was elected Deputy Chair for International Affairs.
Composition of the Council of FSDI Latvia for 2026–2028:
- Artis Velšs – Chair of the Council, Head of the Security Committee, Director of the Security Functions Department at G4S;
- Aivars Flemings – Deputy Chair of the Council for National Affairs, Chairman of the Board of VALPRO;
- Aleksandrs Orlovs – Deputy Chair of the Council for International Affairs, Head of the Communications and Cyber Defence Committee, Member of the Board at Cyber Circle;
- Miķelis Caunītis – Member of the Council, Chairman of the Board of Energolukss;
- Ģirts Ozols – Member of the Council, Chairman of the Board of Latvian State Radio and Television Centre;
- Arnis Ančupāns – Member of the Council, Member of the Board at Alpha Shipping Company;
- Dāvis Eniks – Member of the Council, Chairman of the Board of Citrus Solutions;
- Juris Kiukucāns – Member of the Council, Member of the Board and General Manager at VIC TEC;
- Liene Briede – Member of the Council, Vice-Rector for Innovation at Riga Technical University;
- Enno Ence – Member of the Council, Vice-Rector for Development at University of Latvia.
