On August 2nd VALPRO signed agreement with State Education and Development Agency to implement European Union (EU) Leonardo da Vinci lifelong learning program mobility project (No.2013-1-LV1-LEO02-05332).
This is second year when VALPRO has received support from EU to implement such project during which employees can improve their knowledge by living and practising abroad.
Project foresees that four employees will go for exchange in according industry companies in European countries. Exchange time for each participant is two weeks, during which employee learns working procedures and management in particular host company, but also learns more about culture and traditions in host country and region.
From 5th till 18th August Inspection department director Valdis Praulins and periodic inspection inspector Igors Karpiks went on Exchange to Sweden. Further, production manager Ruslans Sosinovics and designer and constructor Andis Milenbergs will spend their exchange weeks in Germany starting from 3rd October.
Foreign exchange gives opportunity for employees to improve their knowledge in their professional specialization and to identify different processes and practises, from which the best ones can be taken as good example and implemented in daily work at own company.
