On September 1st, students of metalworking and fire safety field are invited to apply for VALPRO scholarship.

 The scholarship is given to the University of Latvia Foundation (ULF), which organize an application and evaluation procedure. ULF assess each student application and Foundation commission chooses two students, who will receive 2 000 LVL scholarship for academic year 2013./2014.

„We want to support students, who study professions and fields of studies that are actual for our company, thereby it promotes students not only to participate and get interested in this field, but also it contributes to the development and growth for the realm in general. It is already third year we provide this scholarship and we are pleased that our support helps youth to grow as professionals,” company Chairman of the Board Aivars Flemings about „VALPRO” scholarship.

This year company provides scholarship for students of following educational institutions and programs:

• University of Latvia, Faculty of Chemistry (study programmes: Chemistry, Work Environmental Protection and Expertise);
• Riga Technical University, Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management (study programmes: Fire safety and Civil defense)
• Riga Technical University, Faculty of Transport and Mechanical Engineering (study programmes: Engineering, Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Heat power and thermal Engineering, Machine Building, Industrial Technology)
• Riga Technical University, Power and Electrical Engineering Faculty (study programmes: Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering)
• Latvia University of Agriculture, Faculty of Engineering (study programmes: Machine Design and Manufacturing).
