On 25th March in Riga Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries of Latvia meeting was held. Meeting agenda enclosed presentation of main implemented activities, reported industry development data, industry research results of 2013, viewed and discussed association’s road map project, which represents main tasks and goals till 2020.
According to association’s statutes this year ends office term of current board, therefor during this meeting new board was elected. 13 members out of 20 nominees were elected. New board unanimously and repeatedly elected Mr Vilnis Rantiņš as chairman of the board. VALPRO Ltd. chairman of the board Aivars Flemings also was repeatedly elected in the board of association and will continue work next three years.
