VALPRO Ltd has successfully implemented project KPFI-IV- 15.3/96 "Greenhouse gas emissions reduction in VALPRO industrial building No. 008". 

 

Within the project simplified renovation works, lighting replacement, dye line, drying oven and degreasing line reconstruction were carried out in industrial building No. 008 (building on the coast of river Gauja). 

 

According to project planning improvements will reduce CO2 emissions by 99t per year, which in terms of money achieve energy savings about 24 000 EUR per year. 

 

Since 2011 in emissions reduction and energy efficiency incentive projects in total invested EUR 1 095 508 EUR, while for current project KPFI-15.4/52 implementation investment of 219 906 EUR is applied. It is planned that implementation of all projects will result in greenhouse gas emissions reduction by 490t annually saving 124 294 EUR.

The contract between VALPRO Ltd, the Latvian Environment investment funds and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Regional Development for open competition “Complex solutions for reducing  greenhouse gas emissions” for project’s KPFI-IV-15.3/96 „Greenhouse gas emissions reduction in VALPRO Ltd industrial building No. 008” implementation was signed in 30th June.

 

Until now, VALPRO Ltd has successfully implemented several investment projects, involving both – the EU and company’s financing.

 

In November of this year new contract between VALPRO Ltd, the Latvian Environment investment funds and the Ministry of Environment Protection and Regional Development was signed for project's KPFI-15.4/52 „Greenhouse gas emissions reduction in VALPRO Ltd industrial buildings No 001; 003; 005; 006; 007; 008; 012; 013 and 014” implementation.
