In February 2019 the Cohesion Fund support project Nr. 220.127.116.11/17/A/030 “Implementation of Energy Efficiency Measures in the VALPRO Production Plant - Production Buildings Nr. 001, 003, 008, and 012.” which started in November 2017 is closed.
The aim of the project is to reduce the consumption of energy resources on the production units and increase the energy efficiency of the production buildings by performing equipment reconstruction, replacement of equipment, renovation of engineering systems and construction works of the building facade and interior renovation.
The planned nine activities of the project have been successfully implemented: Inspection Service (IS) production and passage building facade renovation and indoor renovation, reconstruction of ventilation and heating system in IS production and passage premises, reconstruction of lighting systems in 1st workshop welders and IS premises, reconstruction of gas cylinder hydraulic testing system IS, purchase of Shot Blasting Equipment for gas cylinder surface preparation IS, reconstruction of gas cylinder painting line at IS, purchase of hydraulic press for deep drawing in 2nd stamp workshop, purchase a camera for powder coating scouring and buying a shot blasting machine for cylinder pre-painting in 2nd workshop.
Equipment and engineering system reconstruction works, equipment purchases and energy efficiency building works were performed in high quality and within the planned deadlines.
In addition to the energy efficiency improvement activities defined in the project, other energy-saving equipment improvement measures were implemented during the project (reconstruction of the conveyor line and ventilation installation ID, security and video surveillance, fire alarm system reconstruction, etc.).
The total cost of the project is 1,051 million euro, of which the planned Cohesion fund support is 254 958 EUR.
As a result of the project, the planned energy savings are 46% or 1 039.164 MWh per year.
