From 4th till 9th September in Kazakhstan’s capital Almaty hosted 10th World Championship in Fire and rescue sport. Championship medals were won in four fire sport disciplines, where during tasks participants successfully fought flames with VALPRO Ltd. powder extinguishers.
During Championship in Kazakhstan VALPRO Ltd. chairman of the board Aivars Flemings had meetings with management of Kazakhstan’s Fire safety and rescue service, state ministers and representatives of fire safety sector companies to discuss current trends within the realm.
Latvian national team was represented by Mihails Tutuskins, Einars Jonelis, Oskars Reizins, Maksims Gorodijenko, Krists Rozgals, Rihards Reizins, Maigonis Janis Jakovlevs.
In 100m obstacle race Latvian team took 9th place, in climbing with hook stairs to 4th floor – 11th place, 4x100m relay race – 9th place and in deployment of power driven pump – 12th place.
