On 31st October at University of Latvia most successful students were awarded with scholarships for academic year 2014/2015.

This year VALPRO Ltd.’s scholarship was awarded to Endija Maraka (University of Latvia, Faculty of Chemistry, Bachelor program), Antra Bezrina (University of Latvia, Faculty of Chemistry, Bachelor program) and Vadims Jancevskis (Riga Technical University, Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management, Bachelor program). Endija Maraka received full amount of scholarship 3 000 EUR, Antra Berzina and Vadims Jancevskis received divided scholarship of 1 500 EUR.

VALPRO Ltd. provides scholarship for talented students already four years. The main target of scholarship is to support realm students with excellent performance at research field.

The scholarship is given to the University of Latvia Foundation (ULF), which organize an application and evaluation procedure. ULF assess each student application and Foundation commission chooses students, who receive scholarship.

This year students of following educational institutions and programs were invited to apply for scholarship:

• University of Latvia, Faculty of Chemistry (study programmes: Chemistry, Work Environmental Protection and Expertise);
• Riga Technical University, Faculty of Engineering Economics and Management (study programmes: Fire safety and Civil defense)
• Riga Technical University, Faculty of Transport and Mechanical Engineering (study programmes: Engineering, Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Heat power and thermal Engineering, Machine Building, Industrial Technology)
• Riga Technical University, Power and Electrical Engineering Faculty (study programmes: Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering)
• Latvia University of Agriculture, Faculty of Engineering (study programmes: Machine Design and Manufacturing).
